‘Twas the day before Thanksgiving break,

When all through Rock Canyon

All the students were stirring, even the teachers

The turkey art were hung in the hallways with care,

In hope that Thanksgiving break soon would be there.

Some of our first graders had the chance to show what they were grateful for by writing it down. They were so excited to share what they were grateful for and I loved being able to walk in the hallways and in the lunchroom and ask students

what they were grateful for! Here at Rock Canyon, I may be bias, but we have some pretty amazing students!

Here are some things Rock Canyon is thankful for…

• Every single one of our amazing students! We love getting to spend everyday with them!
• Our teachers, they do so much and work so hard and we couldn’t be more grateful for all they do!
• The school building that gives us a place to come to school and learn
• Every single staff member at Rock Canyon. Whether that be the lunch ladies, librarians, classroom helpers, custodians, office staff, etc. Every single staff member makes a difference and helps keep the school running and the students happy
• The parents of our students! We love the support and help the parents provide, we have the best students and parents!

There is so much to be thankful for and from all of us at Rock Canyon to you….
