Rock Canyon Elementary School

The fourth grade had a very special visitor today!

A real life mountain man came to Rock Canyon to present to all the fourth grade students and it was such a treat. The kids had so much fun learning from him and hearing his stories!

The students loved seeing and hearing from the mountain man what they’ve been learning about in the classroom!

He talked about beaver felt hats and how those were the total fashion rage in the 1800’s like what Lincoln wore.

They also loved getting to interact with him and being able to touch all of the different animal pelts he brought with him.

We love being able to provide our students these experiences and opportunities and we are grateful for this awesome man and the time he took to come talk to our fourth grade students!
