  • Orientation for new members and member training
  • Collect member contact information and set meeting schedule for the year
  • Elect a Chair and Vice-Chair
    • Melanie Baird- new Chair, Ann Harward- Vice Chair
  • Review of required website information and Rules of Order and Procedure
  • Update required school website information:
  • Member names and a way to contact them
    • -a link will be placed on the school website so that member emails will not be listed directly.
  • Proposed meeting schedule for the year- monthly on the 2nd Thursday @ 2PK but may be cancelled no later than two weeks in advance if the meeting is not needed.
  • Invitation for parents to serve on the council
  • Updated rules of order & procedure review- rules adopted-
    • Justin motioned to approve and Melanie seconded- unanimously approved
  • Teacher and student success plan (TSSA)
    • To fund Interventionists
  • Trustlands
    • To fund 1 full time teacher
  • Review of current SafeRoutes for Rock Canyon
    • Council reviewed the current Safe walking route, including crosswalks
  • Trustlands
  • We recommend 2320 N to be a school zone with lights or other means of slowing traffic. Council would like to have the crosswalks on 2320 N flagged as a priority for the city to consider as part of our Rock canyon SafeRoutes plan
