Present: Karen Brock, Kimberly Fountain, Melanie Baird, Anna Haymore

• Orientation for new members and member training-complete, no new members.
•  Member contact information and meeting schedule for the year-complete.
• Update required school website information:
• Proposed meeting schedule for the year-monthly on the 2d Thursday @ 2pm but may be cancelled no later than 2 weeks in advance if the meeting is not needed-complete.
• Invitation for the parents to serve on the council-complete.
• Review of current SafeRoutes for Rock Canyon
  • Council reviewed the current Safe walking route, including crosswalk.
  • We recommend 2320 North to be a school zone with lights or other means of slowing traffic.
  • Council would like to have the crosswalks on 2320 North flagged as a priority for the city to consider as part of our Rock Canyon SafeRoutes plan.
  • Crosswalk data and need for crossing guard
  • Traffic Manager, Vern Keeslar (801-852-6783) to complete the study for the next steps for the crosswalk.
• Discussion of progress of split classes and any other concerns/supports.
• Discussion of volunteer opportunities for community members for involvement in schools.
