The Innovative Learning Division is inviting parents to be a member of a K-12 digital citizenship curriculum evaluation committee. We are looking for at least one parent to volunteer with students from the following grade level bands: K-2, 3-5, 7-8, and 9-12. The parents will work in conjunction with a two-teacher team from the target age group.
We have narrowed our curricula choices to four open-access, online digital citizenship curricula. They are (a) Be Internet Awesome by Google, (b) Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship Curriculum, (c) Net Safe Utah, and (d) NetSmartz by MissingKids.org.
We anticipate that this process will take approximately 10 hours.
If you are interested, please get in touch with tinamc@provo.edu by January 18, and she will forward introductory meeting information.
