Molly Idle, Author and Illustrator, Visits Rock Canyon

Molly Idle, Author and Illustrator, visited Rock Canyon! She shared how she became an artist and what inspires her work. Molly loved checking out drawing books from the library and practiced drawing all the time. She even taught students how to draw with shapes such as ovals and circles which created her famous flamingo from the book, “Flora and the Flamingo”, which she received a Caldecott Honor Medal. Our students created artwork to welcome her and she loved it! Thank you Molly Idle and Provo City Library for this special visit!
