Zoom Meeting in Attendance: Melanie Baird, Jon Felt, Ann Harward, Dr. Karen Brock, Kim Fountain

• District communications team has been updated and simplified the Trustlands portion of the school website.
• We are now able to more easily update our Trustlands page with minutes and agendas. All should be up-to-date by January 14, 2025,
• STEM School Designation:
  • As a Community Council, we have indicated interest in pursuing STEM designation.
  • We are in contact with the STEM Action Center to see if we can get included in this year’s timeline.
  • Arts Integration emphasis.
  • Exploring gifted education as a district.
  • Explore the option of having a STEM/Acceleration specialist: what might that look like?
  • Advantage of a STEM school is state recognition and a banner.
• PTA will be helping to arrange an Art show every Spring at Rock Canyon.
• 8 of our teachers including Dr. Brock will be participating in BYU Art Integration program.
• Mid-year academic data should be in in February
