The Rock Canyon Oral Language Festival is an event in which students perform a memorized, literary selection orally in front of a live audience. We will be doing it on Zoom this year 🙂 Performances for grades 1-3 need to be anywhere from 1-3 minutes and 4-6 grade from 2- 5 minutes. Click on the link to Register.
Categories are the following:
Serious interpretation Solo – One student reciting a serious literary selection
Humorous Interpretation Solo – One student reciting a humorous literary selection
Serious Interpretation Duo – Two students reciting a serious literary selection in both unison and solo parts
Humorous Interpretation Duo – Two students reciting a humorous literary selection in both unison and solo parts
Verse Choir–A group of at least 3 and no more than 6 students reciting a chosen literary selection– using whole group, small group, and solo parts.
We will do a Zoom Performance on April 30th. You can vote for the time and I will go with the majority. This has been so much fun in the past, please consider having your child memorize a poem and perform with us!!! Click the link to register!
